Please refer to page 154 of the manuscript, where it says: " thousand
people killed and injured". Of course there is no concensus on the
number of casualties in the Jaleh Square on the Black Friday, but most
sources agree on 100 to 300 killed and several hundred injured. Hence
the total stated estimate of 1,000 for the dead and injured is not
unreasonable. You can also refer to the references such as numbers 2,
4, 5, 7 and 8 as cited on pages 210 and 211.
